He has spoken and trained on leadership and mission in such far flung places as America, Australia and New Zealand. Julia joined Oak Tree as curate from June 2019.
Julia and her husband are parents to 2 daughters in their twenties and a teenage son. Her particular gifts and interests are pastoral care, prayer and discipleship - her desire is to see God’s kingdom grow and for us all to experience the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Before being ordained Julia had a long career in Local Government as an Internal auditor, and then as a Programme Manager responsible for large transformational initiatives and projects.
Ruth worked as Oak Tree’s administrator for 15 years and has been the Christians Against Poverty Centre Manager since June 2016. She’s also the mother of twins.
Sarah Miller is very happily married and loves the union of family and church. During the 22 years that the family have been coming to OakTree, two young children have emerged into adults that as children loved Crèche, thrived in Children’s Church and Youth, as well as spending a week each summer at New Wine.
The family have moved to their own churches, but Sarah is enjoying her second stint as church warden and still loves worshipping the Lord with her husband at OakTree.
Victoria has been part of Oak Tree for nearly 20 years. She loves food, wine, quality time with friends and family and enjoying the beauty of creation. Along with her husband, she has been running the marriage course at Oak Tree for 5 years and is involved with the youth group (who are brilliant).
