AdvancedSushi Hiro
If you like Sushi (the proper stuff, not the stuff you buy in M&S) or want to experience real Japanese cuisine and see Sushi being made in front of your nose, Sushi Hiro is for you!
It is an unassuming little restaurant just opposite Ealing Common tube, which has about 20 seats. You can sit at the counter seats and watch the food being made infront of your noses. It is relatively cheap and pretty healthy (as long as they treat the raw fish properly!) You need to book and it only accepts cash. Lots of Japanese people go there.
One piece of advice if you do go, is to ask them to go easy on the wasabi! The last time I went, they put so much in it nearly blew our heads off!
Not so good on vegetarian food though (but you can get veggie ones)

Sorry - couldn’t resist - presuming that the veggie in question isn’t one who eats fish, but considers themselves veggie (yes I have met a lot!!), the fish is replaced by things like tofu, cucumber, egg etc. It is possible and as it’s all hand done on the spot, should be fairly easy
