Hello Marketeers

Everything that we do gets people talking…

More recently I have been in more more and more situations where people are interested in hearing about what we are all doing at the market:

Christians from other churches in London want to come and see what it looks like.

Church leaders are amazed that we are out there, not hiding away.

People love that we chat and give out drinks but also pray for healing.

People love that we pray for healing but also give out free drinks.

People love that we chat, give, pray and feed the hungry as best we can.

My non-Christian neighbours think what we do is ‘cool’.

Action Acton can’t quite understand why they love our contribution to the Acton Market that they run.

The local churches in Acton want to hear about the stall (and some are gradually getting closer to becoming team too!).

God love’s that we push into serving, praying and spending time with the diversity of Acton (Ps.41:1).

So I would like to encourage you to do 3 things:

1. The market training “after work special” will be from 6.45-8.30 (venue tbc) on Monday June 15th.

(if you have been to a training session already you don’t need to come to this but I would ask that if you still have moments on the stall where you aren’t sure what to do, or you want to go deeper with your people skills (which we all do) then you should come!

2. Think about putting a couple of shifts in your diary between now and September and let me know what’s best for you.

3. THIS WEEK we have spaces on both shifts… can you give time from 10-12 or 12-2pm?
