H.O.T.S.

We believe God heals today!
Every Saturday, we offer prayer for healing at Acton Market between 10am and 12noon. It won’t cost you a thing! Come and find us near the Oak Tree tea and coffee stall – you’ll see our banner for Market Church!
Perhaps you have already been prayed for by our team. Below you’ll find the infomration we pass on to anyone who has been prayed for on the streets.
If you have been healed, we want to give all the credit to Jesus. So we don’t accept any money or donations for what we do.
If you are on medication STAY on it. Under no circumstances should you stop doing anything a medical professional or a counsellor has advised. Check what has happened with them
If you are in a church already, tell the leaders of your church the great news.
Tell others, friends and family. Bring them along if they need healing!
Let us know! We’d be hugely encouraged to hear you are better. Email, phone or visit us on the street.
If you were not aware of any change in your condition…
We want to assure you that Jesus loves you. We do get many people who are not healed instantly, but some after prayer recover over time.
Keep asking Jesus to reveal himself to you and heal you.
If there is some improvement, we’d love to keep praying for you so please visit us again.
We don’t have all the answers but we know whatever happens that God wants us to know his presence – you can come for prayer as many times as you like.
We prayed for you because we believe Jesus was a real person who came to earth to overthrow the darkness in our world. He showed us this in many ways including healing people. After Jesus was killed, we believe he was raised from the dead and since then his Spirit now lives in all those who believe in him and invite him to make his home in them. He told his followers to heal the sick in his name and they have done so for the last 2000 years. We are simply following in their footsteps.
We believe Jesus knows you nad wants you to know his fullness of life. We hope you would like to know him better. There are a few ways to can begin!
Join a church. A good way of getting to know Jesus is by hanging out with people who know him already! There are many churches in Acton with different styles and flavours. You are most welcome to come along to Oak Tree on a Sunday.
Read a bible. There is a Christian book shop in Churchfield Road, Acton – or you could try the internet. Translations we would recommend are the NIV (New International Version) or the Message. Why not start with the New Testament – there you will read lots of accounts of Jesus and his followers healing people.
Pray. Talk to God and tell him what’s going on in your life.
