Our services are at 4:30pm every Sunday at: Twyford Church of England High School, Twyford Cresent, Acton London W3 Sunday is when the whole of Oak Tree worship God together as a ‘family’. It is also a time when we are encouraged to hear how God is working in and through our lives and the world around us. Services are a blend of contemporary music, informal interaction, contemplative moments and challenging teaching from the Bible. CORE Groups
CORE groups are the means by which we at Oak Tree go deeper in our relationships, growing with each other and with God. To be effective in our God-given calling and life, we need relationships in which others encourage and challenge us along the way. Each CORE group consits of 4-6 people who meet on a fortnightly basis. CORE groups are a new initiative we are exploring this term in place of our traditional Branch (home) groups. Members have filled in questionnaires to enable us to prayerfully put people in CORE groups that will help them to grow more into the men ...
We have a building!!!!
Dear Oaks, Well many of you will have heard of Easter Sunday's announcement by now. Oak Tree is the proud owner of their very own building. The contract on 216 Acton High Street has been both exchanged and completed! Technically speaking the building belongs to the London Diocesan Fund on our behalf. But most importantly all of those years of praying and seeking God's will have come to fruition. Age Concern the present tenants will be in the building until 31 May when they are contracted to leave. Neville Simpson the Project Manager appointed by the LDF is already working on the plans ...
Rhema – Visual Arts Ministry
On Fridays- some of the Oaks (and friends) get together for Rhema. If you feel at all arty or creative - then this is the place for you. We start with a theme, pray and wait on the Holy Spirit to guide, inspire and show us prophetic visions which we translate into visual art forms. This is not an art class and there is no emphasis on mastering techniques. If you can draw stick men - you are welcome! Let us know the Sunday before if you wish to come.
